CALL FOR DEMOS

The 5th IEEE/ACM International Conference on
DISTRIBUTED COMPUTING IN SENSOR SYSTEMS (DCOSS)
June 8 - 10, 2009,

Overview:

DCOSS 2009 solicits demonstrations showing innovative research and applications. DCOSS is interested in demonstrations of technology, platforms, algorithms and applications of wireless sensor networks. The DCOSS demo session will provide researchers the opportunity to demonstrate their work and obtain feedback from interested and knowledgable conference attendees. Submissions from both industries and universities are encouraged.

Demos will be evaluated based on technical merit and innovation as well as their potential to stimulate interesting discussions and exchange of ideas.

Demo proposals are limited to 3 pages (conference template here ) and should include the following:

  • Goals of the demo and the basic idea that it supports.
  • Any related publications or technical reports.
  • Equipment to be used for the demo.
  • Space needed.
  • Additional facilities needed including power and Internet/wireless access.

Important dates:

Demo Proposals Due: May 1, 2009
Notification of Acceptance: May 10, 2009

Submission Instructions:

Proposals should be sent via email as PDF file to the Demo Session Chair at srdjan.krco [AT] ericsson.com.
Please indicate "DCOSS'09 Demo Proposal Submission" as the subject of the email.
