DCOSS-IoT 2025
Tuscany (Lucca), Italy, June 9-11, 2025
The 21th Annual International Conference on Distributed Computing in Smart Systems and the Internet of Things (DCOSS-IoT 2025) will take place in Tuscany (Lucca), Italy. The conference intended since its creation to cover several aspects of distributed computing in smartsystems such as high level abstractions and models, systematic design methodologies, signal and information processing, algorithms, analysis and applications. Starting from the 2023 event, DCOSS is broadening its scope beyond sensor networks to smart systems in general as well as the Internet of Things (IoT). The updated name is “Distributed Computing in Smart Systems and the Internet of Things” (DCOSS-IoT).

- DCOSS-IoT 2025 will host the following 9 confirmed Workshops: Wi-DroIT (Wireless Sensors and Drones in Internet of Things), IoTI5 (IoT Applications and Industry 5.0), SmaCE (Workshop on Smart Circular Economy), ISIoT (Intelligent Systems for the Internet of Things), UrbCom (Urban Computing), SecRIoT (Security and Reliability of IoT), DISCOLI (Distributed Collective Intelligence), LS-NoT (Long and Short Range Wireless Technologies Applied to IoT for Networks of Tomorrow), REFRESH (Real-life modeling in 6G networks).
- A Special Issue of the Computer Networks (COMNET) Journal will include extended versions of selected best papers of DCOSS-IoT 2025.
- DCOSS-IoT 2025 will announce a best paper award and a best poster/demo award.
- The 1st Call for Papers has been announced and can be found here.
- The TPC Chairs will be Prof. Dario Pompili (Rutgers University, USA), Dr. Jennifer Simonjan (Technology Innovation Institute – TII, UAE) and Prof. Zhi Sun (Tsinghua University, China).
- The General Chairs of DCOSS-IoT 2025 will be Francesco Betti Sorbelli (UNIPG) and Cristina M. Pinotti (UNIPG).
- DCOSS-IoT 2025 will be held in Tuscany (Lucca), Italy, June 9-11, 2025.
